SLS Launches Online Store

Southeast Laser Systems, Inc (Charlotte, NC) has launched their much anticipated ecommerce website. The online store will allow customers to order 24/7 using Visa, Mastercard, as well as traditional PO numbers. A variety of products will be available, such as smoke evacuation filters, fibers, laser safety eyewear, and many laser accessories. The company expects an increase in sales following the launch due to accessibility and a more convenient shopping experience for consumers.
SLS realizes the need for an online store to be functional for major organizations, such as hospitals. Therefore, the company is implementing a check-out system that will allow established accounts to make online purchases using PO numbers. While this component may not be available immediately after the launch, the company expects it to be employed shortly after.
Distributor of Matrix CO2 Fractional Resurfacing Laser

Southeast Laser Systems, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) announces the addition of the Matrix CO2 Fractional Resurfacing Laser to their laser systems product line. The Matrix CO2 Fractional Laser optimizes traditional CO2 treatments by producing MicroAblative Columns (MACs) of injury to the tissue while preserving untreated skin in between spots. This promotes rapid re-epitheliazation and long-term collagen remodeling while offering a patient comfort level and convenience that approaches a non-ablative resurfacing.
The Matrix CO2 Fractional Laser is easy to use and very economical. The system does not require disposables (unlike competing systems) and is priced competitively. Southeast Laser Systems will be providing demo evaluations of the Matrix Fractional CO2 Laser to the Carolina and surrounding areas.

Addition of Corneal Eye Shields Product Line

Southeast Laser Systems, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) has added intra-ocular corneal laser eye shields to their product line. The corneal eye shields provide patient protection during laser procedures that are performed on or near the orbital eye region.
The new corneal eye shield product line includes a variety of sizes ranging from infant and newborn to adult. All sizes are in stock and generally ship same business day.

Launch of SLS Laser Rentals

Southeast Laser Systems, Inc. (Charlotte, NC) announced this month that it will be launching a laser rental division in Summer 2005 dedicated to medical and aesthetic systems for the Carolinas. Southeast Laser Systems previously offered laser rentals as temporary replacements during laser service. However, the launch of SLS Laser Rentals will include systems available to medical facilities for long-term and continuous use.
SLS Laser Rentals will enable medical facilities to offer a variety of services to their clients, such as hair removal, tattoo removal, skin resurfacing, GYN, ENT, and more. Southeast Laser Systems anticipates its startup fleet to include the following systems: VBeam 595 nm Pulsed Dye Candela, GentleYAG VP 1064 nm YAG Candela, GentleLASE PLUS 755 nm Alexandrite Candela, AURA StarPulse 532 nm KTP LaserScope, Medlite II 1064 / 532 nm YAG / KTP ConBio, VersaPulse V 532 nm KTP Coherent, UltraPulse 10,600 nm Aesthetic CO2 Coherent, and Illumina 755 10,600 nm Surgical CO2 LaserSonics.

SLS Receives Recognition From North Carolina Biomedical Association

Southeast Laser Systems attends the NCBA's annual symposium and continues to provide support as a vendor at the event. Southeast Laser Systems received an honorary plaque for their dedication.

Exclusive Distributor of the Ultra MD CO2 Laser

Southeast Laser Systems, Inc (Charlotte, NC) announced this month that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Laser Engineering Inc. (LEI), a subsidiary of Surgical Specialty Instruments (SSI – Nashville, TN) to distribute the LEI MD series of CO2 Lasers and laser accessories. The distributor territory covers NC, SC, VA, WV and Eastern TN.
The LEI MD series of CO2 Lasers, in various forms, has been in production longer than any other CO2 laser in the world. It is an excellent general-purpose CO2 laser incorporating current technology that is proven, reliable and virtually maintenance free.
